We had a very productive and busy week!
It was great to see a lot of people out at our SuperBowl Strategies night/PTA/PE Night! We had a great turn out! If you did not attend and you want to find out more great strategies to use at home with your child, please check out our KES website for more details.
Something exciting is going on at KES! KES has been selected to participate in a new grant called KickstART! I will be in training to learn more about incorporating the arts in our classroom. As part of the grant I will be creating lessons and keeping an electronic portfolio. To learn more about the KickstART, I’ve attached the press release about the program.
The first art integration lessons will focus on Theater.

Feb. 8th Last day to purchase dance tickets
Feb. 10th Western Dance
Feb. 14th Picture Day- We will take a class picture and individual pictures of those who prepay.
Feb. 14th Valentine’s Day exchange- If you haven’t made your valentine box, you will need to have one by the 14th. I will send home a class list of names so your child can fill out their valentines. We will not have a party, but will have a valentine exchange.
