Thanksgiving log

We have almost made it to our Thanksgiving break. Today was a hard day for a lot of our friends. We were very chatty and sometimes not very nice to each other. We were able to go outside and that helped our behavior in the afternoon. We still have a whole day of learning tomorrow. J

Marshmallow has found a home for the Thanksgiving break. I put all the names in a randomizer app and Lucas’ name popped up first. I will be looking for Christmas, February break, and Spring break volunteers too. If you didn’t get a chance this time, it might happen then. J We can always work out a weekend visit too.

Instead of our 5 star homework, I am sending home extra baggie books and a special reading log. Those who read over the break will need to fill out the log and return it for a treat. There are extra spaces on the log, so additional books from home can be put on there too. I’ve attached the form to this email in case the paper gets lost. Sight words will be tested tomorrow, but new ones won’t be sent home until the Monday following break. That week’s phonic words will also go home then too. Thank you for your support in extending the classroom to your home.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving break.thanksgiving-reading-log-grecko-edition
