Kid’s Heart Challenge Sign up!

Did you know that we are helping the American Heart Association?

It is a KES tradition to participate in the Kid’s Heart Challenge (formerly called Jump Rope for Heart).

Each year we raise funds for the American Heart Association. We want every kid to participate! I want everyone to participate in our class and there are a few FREE ways to help your child out:

  1. Log into your child’s account online. Click on the link below.

https://www2.heart.org/site/TR?pg=company&fr_id=4819&company_id=220045

  1. Sign your child’s permission slip. (It is blue and was sent home last Thursday) The permission slip gives your child permission to participate in our day of jump roping. If we DO NOT get a blue form back, your child will not participate with our class for specials on our jump rope day in November. I also get a new kickball for our classroom if everyone returns their form!

Weekly Update

Hi Everyone! It will be great to see everyone at the Big Shanty/KES fall festival! It is a free event at Big Shanty! It will be a lot of fun!

Next week we will have early release every day! Dismissal is @ 12:30.

Our specials time changes to 10:05am and our Lunch changes to 11:15.

We will not have recess and writing time due to the shortened day.

Please still send in snack for your child. They like the routine we have established. If you are able to donate any extra snack we would appreciate it.

I look forward to meeting everyone again at your conference. I am attaching the master schedule so you can check your time. Conferences are 30 minutes long so it is important that you arrive on time because there are others scheduled after you. If we run out of time, we can always schedule another day or time. 😊

The book fair will be open in the media center before and after school. Please stop by and check out the new selections. A lot of our students leveled up in Reading and are ready for some new books!
