Weekly Update
Hi Parents!
We had a great week! It was great to have a full week of school again.
I have a couple of updates and reminders.
- Please turn in your permission form for the Field trip. It is Orange and went home on Thursday.
- If your child has been absent for any reason, please send in a note to the office upon returning to school.
Next Week’s focus:
Reading: Central Message/Point of View
Writing: Opinions
Grammar: Root words
Phonics- long i vowels
Science: Light
Math: Place Value
Tuesday Change- Drummer AI lesson
Dates to remember:
2/5 Last Drummer session- Parents invited. (Invitations will go home on Monday)
2/6 Field Trip to Synchronicity Theater
Homework and baggie books are due on Friday.
Phonics and sight word tests are on Friday too.
Thank you for helping your child at home. We have missed a lot of school days and it is going to take all of us working together to meet our goals.
Weekly update
We had a great week. We had a Guidance Lesson, a Media Center Lesson and an Awards Ceremony along with our regular classroom lessons! Wow! Next week will not have as many changes, except that we will have another Media Center Lesson. There is also NO SCHOOL on Monday.

Just announced, we will have an AI field trip. We will be visiting the Synchronicity Theater to view a play. Our trip will be February 6th. At this time I am unsure of the need for chaperones. If this changes I will let you know.
Feb.15th Will be Art Integration Night at KES! Look for more information coming soon.
Feb. 19-23 No School- February Break

Weekly Update
Dear Parents!
It was great to see almost everyone this week. We hope Athena and Avalee feel better soon. Today report cards went home. Please sign the 2nd line and return the envelope. The report card is your copy. If you have any questions about the report card please email me. Monday is a “show and tell” day. Our class filled up a reward jar and picked that activity as their reward. Please help them pick something that will fit in their backpack and is not expensive. They are very excited about this.
