I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. There are fall colors all around and my favorite college football team won their game!

Next week we will be jumping rope in PE. We are so close to having everyone turning in their permission forms! If everyone turns in their forms, we get a new kickball for our classroom!

 

Here is a look at our academic focus:

 

Reading: Non-fiction text features

Math: Doubles +1, Making tens

Writing: Informational Writing (Pumpkins)

Phonics: Long a (vowel pattern ai, ay)

Science/Health: Light, Nutrition

 

I would like to thank everyone for their continued support in the classroom and online.

Online (Zoomers) there WILL NOT be packet pickups until Friday this week. We already sent home our packets for the week. Reminder: You will need to return your book bags with books to be able to check out new books from our classroom. We are missing bags from a couple of students. We are rotating bags of books.

In person (Roomers) you will also need to return your bag of books every FRIDAY so that new books can be sent home. A helpful tip is to always put your bag of books in your child’s backpack each night after you read. This way, they are always there to be changed out by Friday! 😊
