Wow! We made it a full week! We have been very busy, so some of our friends might be a little tired today after such a fun filled week.
Here is a peek at next week. Homework went home today. I have attached it here and I will also upload it to the blog. It is due back next Friday along with the Baggy Books. Please read and reread the baggy books this week. We have a goal of making a 100 on the RI. We haven’t written this goal but it is what we are working towards. To be successful in reading, a child needs to be reading nightly.
Phonics- Review lessons
Reading- Launching Daily 5 and Guided Reading Groups
Writing- Narratives
Math- Graphing and Counting to 120
Social Studies- Global Address

In addition to the Spirit Week our class is working for some incentives. We have collected enough pledges for 2 rewards- Silly Socks and Hat Day! This could be a great way to celebrate the SuperHero Theme too! So, you can wear SuperHero items AND/OR a Hat and Silly Socks on Monday.
